Friendly staff..great central location..but no sleep all night people banging doors in corridor, was really surprised to find out that the room has no bathroom it is a communal bathroom set up. Bed was comfortable but the bedding was made of angora very very itchy! Asked for extended checked as I need to sleep in a little they were helpful but said they were very busy and could not.

The County Hotel is fit for purpose, its basic and no frills but I've always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, even if they are well worn. The toilets and bathrooms are in the corridor and recently refurbished and they are kept clean. You should expect lots of noise from the busy street below as their is no double glazing and you will probably want to leave the window open. The staff are polite and friendly. Book online as it's £10 cheaper!

The place was affordable. The rooms and facility were old but kept clean. Customer service was far below expectations.

You get what you pay for. Basically a dormitory with a sink. Shared toilet and shower, but great if you want to get our head down for as cheap as possible.

Classing this place as a hotel not a hostel is very misleading as this is definitely more like hostel. Dirty walls with paint being peeled of in many places. Dirty windows, worn off carpets and literally everything. Shared toiled and baths on the corridor (which I didn't expect as it was classified as a hotel so I didn't even check before it and that was obviously my mistake) . The toiled not well ventilated making them smell horribly sometimes after somebody visited it before you. Bread and bread rolls at the breakfast the cheapest one and discussing. My daughter didn't want to stay there over night and she refused to use the toilet waiting till we leave the next morning.
